A leading food equipment manufacturing organisation, with a significant presence in the Middle East, are seeking to appoint an experience Engineering Transactional Buyer to join their small team in order to undertake Global transactional purchasing activities from everyday items, to bespoke parts specifically designed for their operation.

Responsibilities

·         Member of the multidisciplinary team to source spares and consumables to support the above business needs.

·         Support for Emergency manufacturing and JIT requirements through effective supplier and contract management.

·         Selection and development of vendors to best meet the quality, commercial and supply agreements of the business

·         Working with project teams on the development of new products as and when required.

• Extensive experience working on ERP/MRP Systems – essential
• Ideally someone from a Purchase2Pay background
• Experienced buyer with exposure to commercial negotiation
• Buying experience in Engineering and allied products.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi cultural setup.
• A strong desire to continue to improve and develop.
• Degree/CIPS qualified would be preferred
