Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of composite procurement of car components and as such the successful candidate should have a sound knowledge of current manufacturing techniques and a good understanding of the market.

 We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with strong management, interpersonal and organisational skills and is able to work well under pressure, within tight timescales. A confident communicator and negotiator and the ability to build strong internal and external relationships is vital for this role.
 Purchasing experience within similar industries or environments would be advantageous but not essential.


Overall responsibility for sourcing of carbon moulds and laminates for race car production.
Supplier selection and development.
Supplier capacity planning and pre-allocation of orders.
Production planning input.
General order administration and management.
Supplier performance management (Delivery/Quality/Cost).
Resolution of technical manufacturing queries and non conformances.
Fault resolutions- Circuit faults.
Expediting
Liaising with designers regarding Design For Manufacturing and lead time reductions.
Costing exercises
