This world renowned manufacturing business is looking to source two
Demand Planners to work within their Automotive team. The responsibilities of
the role are as follows;
Utilising SAP/J1 to process sales orders along with the management
of invoicing without error or delay.
Utilising the Infor forecasting tool to monitor, analyse and
generate accurate long terms forecasts to enable sufficient stock levels to
meet the customers demand whilst maximizing ocean freight and enabling better
capacity planning within their plants.
React to customer changing demands with liaison between customers,
supply managers, Logistics, Account managers and the warehousing agent
Create customer forecasts and demand forecasts
Process sales orders
Invoice processing
Regular liaison with customer to ensure demand and supply is
balanced to best fulfil customer requirements.
React to customer delivery, pricing and product
queries
Maintain and manage filing systems with
regular archiving.
Understand customer business and retrieve any
information as required by communication with the customer.
Face to face meetings when appropriate, to
ensure good customer relationships.
SAP data management: material and price set
up, new account set up
Support to Account Managers and support to
Supply Chain team members during absences.
A good
understanding of supply chain processes and strategy.
Previous
experience with supply of product to Europe and North
Africa.
Experience
of working with Automotive customers is a real advantage.
Excellent
knowledge of Excel and SAP. Knowledge of Infor is a real advantage.
Experience
of forecasting software is essential.
Flexibility
in approach and ability to prioritise a heavy workload and work to deadlines
with a high level of accuracy
