Due to an internal secondment, our client is now looking for a dynamic and experienced Warehouse logistics Manager to control the day-to-day running of the site on a 6 month contract. You will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 120-140 staff, including warehouse supervisors, team leaders, and operatives in the accurate picking and dispatching of stock. You be responsible for ensuring that the shift delivers in terms of productivity, as well as forecasting volumes, H&S, staff training, amongst other responsibilities.

With experience of FMCG, 3PL, Retail and/or Grocery distribution, you will have a proven track record in managing a large team of people. You will be experienced in developing staff, ensuring that they adhere to SOPs. You will have strong communication skills, with an ability to speak to all levels of staff. You will be dynamic, energetic, and articulate, with overall commercial awareness. Experience of working with KPIs is essential.
