CAST UK has an exciting opportunity working with a leading UK Aerospace manufacturer who is currently seeking to appoint an experienced, degree level individual who will manage the day to day operations at their ILC facility to a very high standard of excellence. The position dictates that the individual must have experience in either the Aerospace or Automotive industry. The position will report directly to the Group Logistics Director and will be responsible for the following areas:

• Customer/Account Delivery Performance/Manage & Control AOG/Aftermarket Support.
• Performance & forecasting reviews with Customers (SIOP & ERP Systems)
• Effectively manage a skilled and experienced workforce within the ILC
• Continuous Improvement methodology used to drive efficiencies/processes to reduce costs and introduce changes that bring operational benefits for the ILC
• Manage Goods Inventory (GI) and despatch decks
• Constant and up to date Counts to maintain stock accuracy levels of 99/8%
• Measured on QCD (Quality/Cost/Delivery) with regards to parts passing through the ILC
• Control the Master Production Schedule via the ERP system/Visual Controls and Dashboards
• Financial Budgetary controls are understood/managed/monitored to control ILC costs.

• Commercially competent who is able to demonstrate a strong track record with Tier 1 Aerospace suppliers
• Understands Aviation Quality Standards (AS9100/AS9120)
• Good knowledge of Aviation regulations (JAA/EASA/FAA)
• Responsible for HSE requirements within the ILC
• Good Motivational leader/Organised with excellent time management approach.
• MPS/MRP/GCP and KANBAN knowledge required
• Good Communicator to deliver and operate at all levels of the organisation
