Our client, a leading Global financial services organisation, are seeking to appoint a Marketing Procurement Category Manager in order to develop and deliver sourcing strategies in both Above the Line as well as Below the Line managing a budget in excess of £100m, delivering sub-categories including: Digital, creative, direct marketing, point of sale and brand development.
· Ensuring the delivery of best value on goods and services
· Achieve cost savings/synergy targets
· Leveraging size and scale of the group purchasing power
· Sourcing and managing suppliers whilst mitigating risk through effective contracts
· Delivering business in accordance with group strategy
· A savvy procurement professional with at least 7 years experience – 3 of which much be focussed specifically within Marketing procurement
· Knowledge and experience of initiating, developing and executing market-leading sourcing strategies.
· Strong stakeholder management skills
· Demonstrable influential skills.
· Strong negotiation and project management experience
· A proven background within a demanding environment.
· Degree & MCIPS qualifications a distinct advantage

£45-50,000 Basic plus executive package
