A leading retailer based in the Home Counties is looking to recruit a senior level Operations Manager to manage their operation and play an instrumental role in taking the business to the next level.  Holding overall responsibility for the warehouse/distribution operation and reporting into the Managing Director, the successful will also be fully accountable for P&L, customer service and post sales.  This role will involve day to management of circa 150 – 250 staff.

Candidates are sought that come from a strong retail or FMCG background and have previous exposure to change management and the training/development of colleagues from operative through to management level.  With experience of inbound and outbound operations candidates should be able to demonstrate knowledge of transport, inbound, picking, packing and customer service.  With a strong knowledge of KPI management and the ability to deliver world class standards for the business, candidates must be self motivated.
