A leading Logistics and Distribution business in the East Midlands is looking to recruit a Project Manager.  With a background of project manager from solutions design to implementation, this role is key for the successful development of this contract. The key responsibilities for the role include but are not exhaustive of the following;

• Complete detailed feasibility studies and submit business cases for approval
• Develop detailed project costs and secure relevant project funding
• Prepare detailed project plans and manage all project resources to deliver large scale projects within agreed timescales and to agreed budgets
• Undertake detailed project work, including analysis, solutions design, testing, training and implementation support as necessary to ensure that project objectives are successfully achieved
• Prepare and deliver management presentations to internal and external customers in line with business requirements

It essential that candidates applying for this role have previous experience of complete project management from solution design to implementation. The successful candidate will be degree qualified and have a minimum of 3 years project management experience. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills together with the ability to develop junior members of a team. Prince2 qualified with experience of using both Warehouse Management (Red Prairie) and Transport Management (Paragon) systems is desirable.
