Our client, who is a leading time critical international distribution business, is looking to recruit an Operations Shifts Analyst for their site in Derby who has an understanding of aviation and aircraft charter knowledge.  Reporting into the Operations Manager the role will involve working under pressure in an extremely fast moving environment.  Duties will include:

• Taking shipment bookings
• Hawbs, Manifest, Mawb
• NES Entries
• Other HMC and International Trade related documentation
• Arranging collections and transport
• DTLR Aviation Security / IATA Dangerous Goods
• Booking carriers
• Proactive shipment tracking – Door to Door
• Imports/Exports & Cross Trades administration
• Quotes / Price indications
• Answering/tackling queries and resolving problems
• Dedicated Road/Airfreight/Handcarry/Helicopter Charter/Fixed Wing Charter
• Invoicing/Accruing of costs/Job costing
• Worldwide: Europe, Scandinavia, Eastern  Europe, China, Far East, USA etc.

Hours of work will be a 6 Week rotational shift pattern

3 x Weekends – Thursday PM to Monday AM (Days off Tues & Wed)

2 x Nights (22:00 to 08:30) – Monday PM to Friday AM (Days off Sat & Sun)

1 x Lates (14:00 to 22:30) – Monday PM to Friday PM (Days off Sat & Sun)

Weekend work will be from Home (Company will setup Desk/Computer/Blackberry). In emergency travel to work must be carried out on a weekend.

Candidates applying for this opportunity must without question have the ability to work effectively in a highly pressurised operation and often alone. Must possess excellent communication skills and have previous experience of working in a time critical operation on their own within a stressful environment.
