A well established high street retail business is looking to appoint an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for their distribution centre in the North West.  The shift pattern for this role is alternate 6.00 – 14.00/14.00 – 22.00 including weekend work.  The overall purpose of this role is to  manage a large team of operatives and provide support to the management team in order to ensure a consistent, smooth and efficient warehouse operation in an FMCG environment.  Also, you will be required to;

• Develop and motivate your team to achieve depot and company KPI’s.
• Maximise the use of resources in a cost effective manner.
• Deal with any Health and Safety issues that may arise.

It is essential that you have previous warehouse supervisory experience in a retail distribution operation.  You will be confident in managing a large team in a busy FMCG environment and you must be able to demonstrate a methodical yet flexible approach to warehouse management.  Experience of dealing with performance management issues is essential as is an understanding of health and safety requirements.
