Our client, who is a market leading FMCG blue chip global organization based in multiple European sites, is looking to appoint a champion of continuous improvement across the supply chain. You will be responsible for implementing best practice tools and methodologies that drive the elimination of waste and reduce variability with an emphasis on six sigma and lean processes. Alongside, developing and implementing Procurement and Supply Chain processes and systems to improve service, deliver operational excellence and drive cost savings.
You will have a proven track record of success in a continuous improvement manufacturing/food environment, preferably with 5 years + experience in a project/program management role. The client is looking for an inspirational team leader with six sigma, prince2 and kaizen qualifications. This role is not for the faint hearted as the nature and culture of the business is extremely fast paced and the supply chain/operations functions are the key to their business success. You must also be able to travel across Europe, and potentially the world.
