Cast UK employees went out on the town in style last week to a festive dinner & dance at Manchester’s prestigious Hilton Hotel on Deansgate. The celebrations were a double whammy for all in the business; not only was the event in celebration of the festive season but also to toast the close of a record breaking year for the organisation. It has been a remarkable year for Cast UK as it has grown its ranks, moved to an exciting new office and increased its sales by 40%. The festivities began at the Cast UK Manchester office as MD Wayne Brophy took the workforce through a review of the company’s performance and key events in his now traditional annual presentation to the company. The teams were delighted to see the exceptional year the organisation has had across all of its specialist fields, and became even more delighted when they got to tearing open their Secret Santa gifts. Wayne thanked the teams for their contribution to the organisation’s success throughout 2011 and wished all a Merry Christmas before looking ahead to an even bigger year in 2012. Later that day, the merriment continued as the teams headed over to Manchester’s popular hotspot “Deansgate Locks” for drinks to toast the year and then onto the Hilton for some fine wine & dining. Spirits were high as the night went on and all had a thoroughly good time; with debates about which event was the better – Chester Races or Hilton dinner Dance – continuing today! Wayne Brophy MD said; “It was my absolute pleasure to be announcing to all the teams such a record breaking year for Cast UK and to celebrate Christmas in style. I am proud of all of Cast UK’s achievements throughout 2011 and raring to go in 2012. We are looking to continue to grow and improve through our dedication to exceptional customer service within the procurement, supply chain & logistics disciplines. I’m especially looking forward to celebrating another record breaking year this time in 2012!”

Cast UK has been declared as a Top 10 finalist in the “Best Recruiter” & “Best Candidate Communications” categories of Jobsite’s 2011 RecruitRank Awards. Recognising best practice and quality customer service within recruitment, the RecruitRank Awards are the only accolades in the industry where finalists and winners are chosen by the feedback from candidates and not a panel of industry judges. Launched by leading website Jobsite in November 2005, RecruitRank enables candidates to feedback anonymously on the quality of an agency’s service after they have applied for a vacancy advertised by them on Jobsite. Recruiters have personal, private access to this free market research and it enables them to monitor and, if necessary, improve their service offering. The finalists within each category of the Awards were selected through a culmination of this feedback from candidates over the last 12 months. Commenting on the awards, Keith Potts, Jobsite CEO, says: “We launched Jobsite’s innovative RecruitRank system as we recognise the difficulties recruitment agencies face in satisfying clients as well as candidates. It's often a thankless task, but these awards reward hard working recruitment agencies that place a real importance on looking after the candidate as well as their clients. With several thousand recruitment consultancies eligible for inclusion in the RecruitRank awards, being awarded Top 10 finalist status is a great accolade in itself. Finalists have the added compliment that they have achieved this position through the people who know their offering the best – the candidates – providing vital third party endorsement.” On being announced as finalists, Wayne Brophy, Cast UK Managing Director commented: “It is wonderful to see all of our consultant’s hard work being recognised by the candidates in our marketplace. At Cast UK the level of service we offer our candidates is of the utmost importance and we could not be more pleased that those efforts are recognised by the candidates themselves and it means so much to us that these nominations were as a result of direct candidate feedback on the Jobsite review facility.”
