Role Profile

Our client is a customer focused, innovative, value-driven company, which manufactures, processes and distributes manufacturing products and services to customers worldwide. As a result of organisational restructuring, they are now looking to add a number of Sourcing Assistants to their procurement team. The objective of these new opportunities is to provide a cost effective and value add purchasing service to specified business units, managing commercial relationships effectively and providing value in use/cost effective solutions.

The roles will be a combination of low level/low value procurement, for low critical, one-off contractual spend, covering a range of category spend such as: Operational Services, Goods, Corporate Services, Raw Materials, Direct & Indirect spend

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years procurement experience within a similar role, be customer focussed and will have had exposure within the following areas:

Negotiation
Priority management
Innovative and creative purchasing
Understanding and interpreting detailed specifications
And a great deal of problem solving experience

Remuneration
£25 – 30,000 plus excellent package and benefits.
