Role Profile

Our client, a major manufacturer, is seeking to appoint a Sourcing Analyst to support the supplies procurement team by providing accurate spend and market analysis. You will be required to seek, obtain and analyse market data to enable supplier profiling. Recommend the most appropriate value adding sourcing strategy, in order to ensure competitiveness throughout the extent of the contract and sourcing process. As well as extracting spend data from relevant sourcing and producing reports accordingly.

Candidate Profile

· Experience as a Purchasing Analyst within a commercial role

· Awareness of the role and contribution suppliers make within large organisations

· Strong IT & Procurement technology skills

· Analytical skills, mind-set and capabilities

· Attention to detail

· Information gathering

· Ideally educated to degree level and/or working towards a CIPS qualification

Remuneration

£25 – 30,000 plus excellent package and benefits
