Senior National Account Manager - France & BeNelux



My client is a fast-growing company in the perfume and cosmetics industry. Brands they operate include GHOST, NAOMI CAMPBELL, ARIANA GRANDE, JENNIFER LOPEZ, HAWAIIAN TROPIC, CERRUTI, PLAYBOY, and other international brands.

Overall job purpose:

  • To manage specific French key accounts across a defined brand portfolio. Sephora, Nocibe, Marionnaud, Department stores, and Independents.
  • Leading DP's sales efforts nationwide in France, Belgium, and The Netherlands.
  • To achieve targeted turnover and Operating Profit based on an annual budget.
  • Managing specific brands in specified retailers/distributors.
  • To achieve specified retail distribution and in-store merchandising objectives (qualitative).
  • Work with French Distributor Service Provider (BBC) to deliver excellence in-store execution
  • Manage distributors - Belgium, Netherlands, France mass market.

Principal Accountabilities:


  • Work to deliver retailer strategy within specified key retailers
  • Lead sales role in the market
  • Update and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts indicating risks and opportunities.
  • Delivery of agreed sales and profit targets.
  • Manage trade spending effectively, ensuring to drive brand awareness whilst maximizing profitability.
  • Budget building and delivery.
  • Support General Manager - International Markets with ad hoc projects.


  • Lead category performance, be the first point of contact for retailers.
  • Cross-functional monthly retailer meetings to review performance.
  • Drive profitable EPOS sales, building brands appropriately.
  • Develop strong networks and partnerships across all relevant departments with all accounts.
  • Ensure consistent excellent service to specified retailers delivering a best-in-class approach.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Needed:

  • 7 years of National Account experience in the perfumery sector.
  • Fluent French speaker
  • Team player.
  • Analytical and detail orientated.
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Highly operational.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft
  • Strong negotiation experience.
