Reporting into the General Manager, you'll play a key role in the business through close collaboration with other functions - the role is Monday to Friday based onsite.

Role Profile

As Supply Chain Manager, you will take the lead in making sure everything flows smoothly, from sourcing materials to delivering finished products on time. This is a role where the right hands-on individual will excel by setting the standard across the production and assembly team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train staff to assure adherence to SOP's and maximum output efficiency.
  • Develop and implement strategies to continuously improve efficiency, reduce costs and streamline supply-chain processes.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure stores availability to meet production and customer demands.
  • Analyse data and produce forecasts to anticipate demand and plan material requirements.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven management experience, ideally within production, engineering, aerospace or precision manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in sourcing and onboarding new suppliers.
  • Strong supplier management with proven record improving performance metrics including unit price, lead times, etc.
  • Experience in end-to-end supply-chain management.
  • Strong communicator, able to consistently communicate supply chain needs and solutions to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience in buying component parts to meet production and customer demands.
  • A strong negotiator able to build long-term relationships with suppliers and vendors.
