£40,000 - £45,000 + Car

Role Profile

Cast UK have been instructed to source an experienced Contract Development Manager on behalf of one of our key clients. As a result of growth within the business and this position will play an integral part in development the service offering that our client offers to its customer base. In this customer facing influential role, key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop constructive long term relationships with the stakeholders of the customer
  • Identify requirements that the customers may have for new services and where possible cross sell the products that can be offered.
  • In conjunction with Contract Account Manager team, deliver new business opportunities
  • Detailed management of a contract pipeline
  • Provide support, collation and guidance for all Continuous Improvement projects and activities within the contract areas designated
  • Manage the Continuous Improvement projects for all designated operations to provide broader business benefit and a centralised focus
  • Create operating solutions and written tender responses for new business proposals
  • Work in partnership with each of the Contract General Managers to identify and achieve pre-determined target savings

Skills & Experience

Candidates are sought previous exposure to and experience of working in customer facing management positions. Experience of developing operations, continuous improvement and operational / procedure best practice are all pre-requisites for consideration Additional skills and experience required includes:

  • Strong commercial acumen combined with and understand of sales and marketing
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to succeed
  • The ability to work with the Customer to understand and define requirements whilst also developing a long term strategic partnership
  • Analytical skills with the ability to positively challenge solutions
  • Experience of operational, technical and man management experience and previous exposure to several continuous improvement techniques
