Role Title

Customer Supply Assistant

Role Profile

Customer Supply support (UK branded business):

  • Primary point of contact for logistics partner contacts and customer supply chain contacts (inventory controllers, traffic managers).
  • Actively liaise with warehouse transport planners/stock controllers to maximise customer deliveries.
  • Attend weekly stock meeting, discussing stock availability risks/issues to minimise customer service level issues.
  • Communicate current and future stock issues, both internally and externally.
  • Order/stock allocation management in Navision
  • Monitor customer service levels, ensuring orders are delivered in time and in full. Maintain a central file with SLs recorded. Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to improve efficiencies.
  • Manage customer stock databases using customer on-line systems to report SPOS sales out, depot and store stocks and identify any potential issues.
  • Assist NAM to identify any gaps, opportunities and trends that will help with sales forecast accuracy through Forecast Guidance Meetings.
  • Manage customer price files ensuring correct invoice price is applied to orders and verifying any price discrepancies received.
  • Manage discounter orders/bookings, ensuring stock availability for OTIF deliveries.
  • Undertake periodic customer visits, developing relationships with SC teams.
  • Ad-hoc cover for Customer Supply Managers and Customer Demand & Collaboration Manager.

Skills & Experience

  • Enthusiastic, Precise, Accurate, Open, Flexible, Independent, Hands-on Administrative Person.
  • Good communicator with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Computer literate: Excel, Microsoft Navision or other Microsoft small business applications.
  • Customer focused - experience of working collaboratively with customers

NVQ / A-Level Qualified
