Role Profile

My client, a leading High End retailer, is looking for an experienced Global Franchise Manager to join their London based head office team.

  • Forecast annual and monthly sales plan by store/country for the entire franchise portfolio.
  • Project and plan business by partner to ensure adequate inventory levels.
  • Review profitability reports to make decisions on how to grow a business (understand sales to stock ratios, gross margin, markdowns etc)
  • Orchestrate product knowledge seminars for stores in order to train in-store selling staff of merchandise features, quality, fashion trends, and company direction
  • Advise accounts of merchandise ready and any production issues
  • Monitor, track and analyse account selling; generate and track weekly selling, door selling, seasonal turn, and seasonal margin
  • Partner with Global Business Development Director on a daily basis on territory status Skills & Experience


Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience in apparel/non apparel sales at wholesale level, buying and/or retail experience.
  • Understanding of the apparel industry and how to analyse the business with "retail math" (ie., sell through, stock on-hand, inventory, and margin)
  • Excellent computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion to develop others, ensuring one consistent voice runs throughout your team
  • Strong coaching and flexible style of management, able to manage upwards and deliver on expectations set
  • A planned and thorough individual who is able deliver a robust plan to look at store performance and what needs to be done to achieve maximum performance.
