Role Profile

Cast UK have been exclusively retained by an industry leading brand to recruit a Logistics Manager for their Operations in Yorkshire. You will work closely with key stakeholders to produce an optimum, customer focused distribution operation as required by the business. Reporting into the Managing Director, this is a highly responsible position focused on the continued and successful growth of their business. You will be responsible for maximising service efficiency along with providing strategic leadership to each of your direct reports across both Warehouse and Transport functions.

My client prides itself on exemplary customer service, supplier relationships and continual innovation. As a result, they are experiencing high growth and are looking for a dynamic Logistics Manager to support further expansion.

Skills and Experience

A successful candidate must have;

  • Extensive Senior Management experience within a complex logistics environment.
  • Experience managing substantial budgets.
  • A drive for success and be looking for a rewarding and challenging career step.
  • Strong communication, people, and leadership skills, be articulate and able to adapt their style based on situational need.
  • A passion for exceeding targets and offering exceptional customer service, and be a natural self-starter.
  • Be analytical in their approach to operations management, with the ability to develop and implement productivity improvement initiatives.
  • The skills and knowledge to use various WMS to maximise operational efficiency

Other desirable skills

  • CPC, IOSH, or NEBOSH and other similar qualifications
