Role Profile
Our client, a world leading branded FMCG supplier are looking for an end-end Supply Chain Manager to join a successful team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full end to end supply chain function including demand planning, customer service, inventory and 3PL management perspective. This role will also provide line management and act as a lead / mentor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a team within the supply chain
  • Responsible for inventory management of finished goods at 3PL and VMI sites
  • Manage and deliver detailed demand forecast and analysis for key customers and SKU/product category levels
  • Provide forecast trend analysis for products, accounts, and channels
  • Support NPD launches and distribution expansions
  • Lead monthly cross functional S&OP process and meeting
  • Manage and control the transport & distribution costs in line with the UK P&L targets.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with top accounts, maintaining regular and positive contact supporting the commercial function and developing our collaborative promotional forecasting processes.
  • Devise and deliver a project pipeline to improve customer service and minimise distribution costs into our major customers.
  • Track and report key supply planning metrics - Customer measured OTIF, Forecast Accuracy.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years FMCG/Retail Demand planning and customer service experience.
  • Experience with forecasting/ERP/MRP systems - SAP preferred
  • Experience of production, material requirements or inventory planning
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Leadership and people management skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to juggle and manage timelines and deadlines
  • Ability to stay cool and calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive approach and work ethic appropriate for a fast-paced, team-oriented, growth company
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships and influence stakeholders across the business.
  • Ability to identify trends, significant events, outliers in data.
