Role Profile
Our client is a leading business that provide premium International Air, Sea and Road Freight solutions. They are looking to recruit a high calibre Business Development Manager with a proven record of winning new business, and developing existing clients. You will be responsible for both transactional and strategic sales, generating revenue from new business wins and developing volumes with existing customers. Additional responsibilities include;
- Lead & implement short & medium term sector growth strategies.
- Negotiate terms of trading, ensuring all agreements are correctly contracted.
- Maintain and develop a robust pipeline of growth opportunities in order to meet defined growth expectations.
- Manage relationships with key clients and external stakeholders ensuring all levels of the organisation are fully aware of trends and expectations of customers and the broader marketplace.
- Identify opportunities with key customer groups to grow market share.
Skills & Experience
You will be a proven Business Development Manager / Sales Manager and must have considerable experience in selling Logistics Solutions for both major blue chip, and SME businesses, ideally within the freight sector. It is essential that you have businesses that you will be brining with you within the industry that you can call upon to enable you to hit the ground running in this position.
