Role Profile
A brilliant opportunity has arisen to join a global business based in the Bradford area as a Buyer.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Negotiating pricing and commercial terms with suppliers
  • Developing supplier relationships
  • Commodity Management
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders including Sales, Purchasing and Customer Service
  • Delivering savings and supply chain efficiencies through effective negotiation and procurement
  • Identifying new suppliers to maximise quality and minimise costs

Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Procurement experience in a previous Buyer role
  • Proven negotiation skills and commercial acumen
  • Strong stakeholder management and supplier development skills

The following may also prove to be an advantage:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing/fmcg background
  • Proven cost savings
  • MCIPS or part CIPS qualification
