Role Profile
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an excellent company business based in Sheffield working with an excellent brand in Sheffield.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Issuing RFQs to suppliers and negotiating pricing and commercial terms
  • Focus on new product ranges
  • Ensuring quality is at it's highest
  • Managing ongoing supplier performance
  • Delivering savings and supply chain efficiencies through effective negotiation and procurement
  • Purchasing form suppliers in both the UK and the Far East
  • Identifying new ideas and innovative plans
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders including Sales, Warehouse and Marketing

Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Previous procurement experience in a Buyer role
  • Proven negotiation skills and commercial acumen
  • Strong knowledge of oversee's suppliers

The following may also prove to be an advantage:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or fashion environment
  • Strong Excel skills
  • MCIPS or part CIPS qualification
