Commercial Officer / Bid Manager

Role Profile

Our client is an Aerospace and Defence company based in Oldham looking to recruit a Commercial Officer to join their busy Commercial Bids team on a permanent basis.

Key responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate all cross functional activity and collate information in order to prepare complex bids for assigned customer accounts
  • Manage the end to end tendering process for new business opportunities, ensuring all tenders are compliant with necessary regulations
  • Generate Sales Orders following successful bid
  • Oversee contract management process for your assigned customer accounts including quotations and sales order process

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Min. 3 years' experience in a similar commercial officer role
  • Experience working with complex bid processes within a manufacturing / engineering environment
  • Understanding of commercial / contractual terms and conditions
  • Proven stakeholder engagement skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
