Job Description

A global FMCG company is looking for a Spanish Speaking Demand/Supply planner for their Middlesex location. The ideal candidate would proactively manage the forecasting and ordering of inbound stock from PO to delivery into warehouses, ensure customer service levels are met, maintain target stock holding and recommend amendments to forecasting and stocking policies.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize data to validate forecast information
  • Analyse current data alongside new demand drivers to predict the future impact of change
  • Present analysis of all forecast variances
  • Create and maintain forecast accuracy measurements
  • Executing forecast performance, stock management, inventory, supplier and quality control reports
  • Carry out 'What if' analysis and make stocking policy recommendations
  • Review and resolve any Purchase Order and Transfer Order exceptions on a daily basis
  • Proactively manage items through their lifecycle in planning and ERP systems
  • Review and resolve inventory exceptions
  • Report supply risks and shortages to S&OP process stakeholders
  • Work closely with Supply Chain Specialists to reduce out of stocks in bases/ stations
  • Continually monitor supplier deliveries
  • Work with Planning Manager and Procurement teams to identify and resolve supplier issues and build supplier performance metrics

Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate level with strong numerical and analytical skills.

Work Experience:

  • 2 year's work experience in an inventory planning, replenishment role in an FMCG environment
  • For more senior role 1-2 years of supervisory experience/ line management

Technical Skills:

  • Intermediate Excel
  • Experience of using ERP or inventory planning systems

Key Skills:

  • Strong written and oral communication in English and Spanish
  • Proven interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong focus on time management and attention to detail
  • Able to demonstrate organizational skills and multi-task under pressure
  • Proactive and takes ownership, using own initiative
  • Forward thinking, creative problem solving
