Role Profile
Our client, who is a leading 3rd Party Logistics business, is looking to recruit an experienced General Manager to create and maintain an effective and productive business unit, which focuses on delivery of results, maximising profitability and developing a sustainable customer relationship. You will be responsible for managing budgets and charged with the oversight of the depots operation as a whole within an FMCG environment.
Skills & Experience
You must have a have a proven record of success from an operational background, ideally with a Transport bias in addition to management experience at senior level. You must also have excellent customer relationship skills. You will also be accustomed to setting and managing performance through KPI's and driving business objectives through influencing your people. Strong Commercial & Financial experience is a pre-requisite. The ideal candidate will come from an FMCG/Food Logistics background.
