Role Profile
Our client, who are a leading Logistics business, is looking to recruit a General Manager to head up their operation in West Yorkshire. Reporting into the Operations Director you will be responsible for the day to day management of a new site covering both warehouse & transport functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of a busy Distribution Centre
  • P&L management and budget responsibility
  • Reporting key KPI reports to senior management
  • Providing strategic leadership across both warehouse & transport functions
  • Develop a culture of continuous improvement
  • Accountability for all site H&S

Key Skills

  • Experienced General Manager with proven track-record of site management
  • Hands on approach to site management
  • Experience overseeing both warehousing and transport functions
  • Focus on customer service excellence
  • Site start up experience would be beneficial
  • Commercially astute
