Role Profile
A leading distribution customer of Cast UK's is looking to recruit an experienced Regional HR Business Partner. Based predominantly out of the Hull operation, the HR Business Partner will also be required to spend time managing 2 additional sites in the East Midlands and Kent. Reporting into the Group Head of HR, this role will manage all day to day HR matters across the 3 locations with potential emphasis on operational HR and employee relations. The HR BP will be required to drive best practice, company procedures and ensuring compliance throughout the 3 sites.

Other requirements of the HR Business Partner role include:

  • Work with the site leadership teams to provide advice and guidance on individual employee relations cases, ensuring these are well managed and meet the requirements of the Company's policies, procedures and best practice.
  • Develop and maintain consistent and effective relationships with your management teams, nnion stewards and lead drivers as appropriate.
  • Ensure colleagues are kept informed and updated on key business issues that drive performance and improve the culture across each of the sites and the network as a whole.
  • Influence, coach and support the management team at all levels across the operation
  • Work closely with the leadership team to ensure employee performance across KPI's are on track and tackle any instances of non-compliance
  • Work with the senior HR team to streamline and improve operational HR efficiency
  • Manage employee sickness & absence across the business
  • Work with the leadership team to identify high performing team members who have the potential for progression and development



Skills & Experience
Candidates are sought who have previous experience of working within a fast-paced blue-collar environment in a HR capacity. Managing large people numbers of people across a multi-cultural workforce consisting of permanent and temporary labour would certainly be advantageous. CIPD qualified, candidates must the possess the ability to work autonomously in a decision making role. The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines is essential as is the ability to positively influence others. It is important that candidates applying for this position have an up to date knowledge of employment legislation. Finally candidates must be mobile, possess their own car and have the flexibility to stay away from home on an adhoc basis.
