Role Profile:
Our client is a leading business with operations across the globe who is looking for an experienced Inventory Planner with strong negotiation experience to join their team. You will have strong knowledge of forecasting, planning, inventory control and material distribution. My client is looking for a strong communicator who has a real drive and enthusiasm for their work. Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and develop processes to improve the overall stock and inventory forecast and accuracy
  • Review historical sales trends. Gather, analyse and validate data, running the S&OP Process
  • Working cross functionally to identify opportunities and improve procedures
  • Drive improvement in forecast accuracy
  • Meeting with internal and external stakeholders and ensure smooth supply of information
  • Using the company's MRP system, focussing especially on Excel
  • Coordinate cross-functional analytical activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast models



Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a Demand Planning position or in an Inventory role or a Buyer role
  • Working in an FMCG market - non food
  • High level of proficiency in forecasting with an understanding of the financial and operational impacts
  • Strong analysis and presentation skills
  • Advanced Excel
  • Proactive, 'can do' attitude
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet short deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a cross functional team and interact with all levels of the business with the forecast process
  • Strong interpersonal skills to motivate, influence and manage others to deliver change and keep an environment positive
