Role Profile
Cast UK are working in partnership with Bunzl Catering Supplies, the leading distributor of disposables, packaging and hygiene solutions to the hospitality and catering, public sector, education, and healthcare. The business is witnessing continued growth across their operations by the successful attraction of new customers and the development of existing accounts.
Due to the continued growth of the business, Bunzl are looking to recruit a National Account Sector Co-ordinator who has the customer at the forefront of their working day. The National Account Sector Co-ordinator is a branch-based admin role providing support to the sales team and customer service to major account head offices within the sector.
The role requires a person who is structured, organised and specialist/administrative by nature and calls for someone who is systematic and has the ability to concentrate on things within their area of knowledge, experience and education.
Key Responsibilities
- Run regular reports for customer, to include monthly business plans
- Assist NAM with product sourcing and action new product request forms
- Liaise with stock controllers to manage changes to stock levels to ensure sufficient stock available / avoid overstock, including bespoke products and the management of stock for roll out and opening orders
- Co-ordinate roll-outs and opening orders schedules with other departments
- Liaise with call centre on a regular basis and assist in resolution if account specific queries to include back orders, downgrades and lost orders
- Effective housekeeping of customer price files and liaise with customer support desk to maintain customer data bases
- Assist NAM with customer quotations and pricing for new items
- Deal with specific customer queries and issues promptly and coordinate with other departments to an appropriate conclusion and any follow up actioned
- Actively support NAM in the exhaustion of bespoke and account specific stock and manage discontinued stock and supersessions
- Knowledge of customers in the wider food retail and catering industry
- Review compliance within the customer portfolio and the use of GAP analysis.
- Liaise with internal key stakeholders to meet customer needs, ensuring smooth running of the account and a programme of continual improvement.
- Solution based approach to managing customer challenges, ensuring that they receive the best experience possible.
- Make appointments with customers to increase sales and work on joint projects. Keeping records of quotes and working with internal sales support to chase and convert opportunities into orders.
Skills & Experience Required
- Effective numeracy, literacy, and word processing skills (GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above or equivalent).
- Excellent Administration skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Commercially astute and able to build relationships with stakeholders
