Role Profile
Cast UK are working in partnership with Tri-Star Packaging, the UK's leading food-to-go packaging supplier. Part of Bunzl PLC, who are a FTSE 100 business, the companies are seeing continued growth across their operation by developing existing accounts and by attracting new customers. Due to the continued growth of the business, they are now looking to recruit a National Account Support candidate who has a proven record of working alongside a fast-paced National Accounts team. You will focus on gathering facts or performing specialist assignments. You will provide support to the National account managers and customer service to major account head offices.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Support sales and profit targets as set by National Account Manager.
- Make the most of all opportunities by following quotes through to orders.
- Track bespoke stock value and ensure products are sold within agreed timescales.
- Understanding of the customer price build and financial aspects of the contract.
- Accompany National Account Managers to review meetings at the customers' head office and client sites, to build relationships and identify opportunities.
- Review compliance within the customer portfolio and the use of GAP analysis.
- Liaise with internal key stakeholders to meet customer needs, ensuring smooth running of the account and a programme of continual improvement.
- Ensure that bespoke and customer specific stock is managed, and appropriate levels of stock are maintained for customers and the business
- Build relationships with core manufacturers and liaise with them on opportunities.
- Knowledge of customers' financial and contractual agreement.
Skills & Experience
You will have the drive to achieve results in a friendly and collaborative manner, but at all times maintain quality and standards. You will have the ability to absorb and impart factual information to others, working within standard operating procedures. Ideally, this person will have a sales background, however the desire to learn and be open to new ideas and challenges is of utmost importance. Communication is key in this role, so you should have good verbal and written skills. Good numerical skills are essential and so is the ability to learn complex financial concepts. The successful candidate for this position will be positive, participative, self-confident, friendly and importantly self-starting.
