Procurement Operations Manager
North East London

Role Profile

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a thriving business based in the North East London area as a Procurement Operations Manager.

You will be working for a small but growing Sales and Marketing Agency in a dynamic and fast paced environment. You will have the opportunity to work on accounts for some of the world's well known and best loved consumer brands and will be an integral part of the London office's senior team.

The key purpose of this role is to manage the procurement and finance operations for three offices across Europe.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking all procurement activity for the region, leading all tendering processes, supplier negotiations and supplier selection
  • Managing supplier performance to ensure the supply chain is meeting clients' needs
  • Identifying and delivering cost savings to maximise revenue and deliver added value to clients
  • Reporting on P&L for European offices and client accounts including profitability and margin
  • Collating annual budgets and forecasts
  • Supporting with VAT and tax compliance in European region
  • Managing a small team of Buyers and overseeing performance of Sales team

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Proven track record in Procurement, Customer Service and Inventory Management in a fast paced FMCG or retail environment, ideally in a client facing role
  • Background in accounting or exposure to financial reporting including forecasting and budgeting
  • Understanding of VAT and tax reporting for the UK and ideally other European countries
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Flexible, dynamic approach with outstanding communication and influencing skills
