Role Profile
Our client, a multinational manufacturing business based in Bucks, are currently looking for an experienced and hungry Quality Manager to share good practices and improve operational performance. Ideally coming from a manufacturing background, the successful candidate should have a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to handle multiple projects at once.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for the company's quality management
  • Development and implementation of new quality strategies
  • Leads continuous improvement initiatives to reduce customer complaints
  • Identify quality improvement opportunities
  • Develop a suite of quality KPI's and maintaining standards of performance
  • Champion waste reduction and quality improvement via lean and six sigma and continuous improvement
  • Ensures raw material specifications are aligned to customer specifications,
  • Quality performance indicators of all key suppliers including distribution carriers
  • Track complaints to identify improvement opportunities
  • Manage and update quality documentation
  • Ensure a safe and clean working environment



Skills and Experience

  • Experiened within ISO9001
  • Experience within Quality Assurance
  • Managerial / Leadership experience preferred
  • Background within Manufacturing
  • Ability to work independently and develop initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills
  • Experience of working in global operations
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Outstanding written and spoken communication skills
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to utilise in delivering improved performance
  • Demonstrate commitment, enthusiasm and passion for continuous improvement and quality excellence
  • Self-motivated with a high sense of "urgency" and self-initiative
  • Attention to detail while having a strong sense of strategic priorities
  • Excellent communicator
  • Positive team player
  • ISO 9001 trained would be ideal, but not essential.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to travel as needed
