Role Profile

Cast UK are looking to recruit a talented Purchasing professional for a leading manufacturing business based in Lincolnshire. Due to expansion and successful growth of the organisation the team are keen to engage CIPS certified professionals with a background in procurement within technical manufacturing or engineering environments.

Key responsibilities to this Procurement role include:

• Developing and implementing effective procurement sourcing strategies for key spend areas
• Developing and maintaining supplier relationships
• Delivering cost savings to the business through strategic sourcing and negotiation
• Consistently maintaining a continuous improvement approach to problem solving

Skills and Experience

The successful candidates will have:

• Significant procurement experience including strategic sourcing, tender management and contract negotiation
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
• Proven track record in delivering cost savings and supply chain efficiencies
• Experience in engineering or manufacturing sectors.
• Confident interpreting technical drawings
• Ideally CIPS certified
