Our client

Multi Million dollar international manufacturer with a wide-reaching global footprint, with staff and locations around the globe.

The Role

The Human Resources Advisor is responsible for providing advice across the business in relation to Human Resource practices and employment legislation, developing and implementing Human Resource practices and procedures and coordinating all aspects of Human Resource activities across the business.

The duties and responsibilities associated with this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage compliance with all relevant legislation (including international) across the business
  • Coordinate the recruitment process across the business including the management of agency relationships
  • Coordinate bi-annual pay review procedures, manage changes to pay and conduct market research
  • Develop, implement and manage all procedures related to personnel development; including appraisals, PDP's and employee evaluations
  • Coordinate Discipline, grievance and capability procedures
  • Manage immigration requirements for present and future employees
  • Manage the effective production and storage of general employee documentation
  • Support tendering processes through the provision of information and the development of appropriate Employee relation requirements
  • Coordinate appropriate elements of the Occupational Health procedure and the SSP process
  • Coordinate redundancy and restructure processes
  • Manage, develop and coach the HR Assistant

Key Skills and Experience

CIPD qualified, level 5 or above

Experience and Knowledge

  • Proven generalist experience working within a busy HR Department.
  • Experience in applying HR and Employment Law knowledge to varied situations.
  • Involved with dealing with high volume and sometimes complex workload and issues.
  • Good attention to detail, analytical and able to follow procedure.
  • Proficient in IT, particularly Microsoft office.
  • Excellent numerical, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi task effectively.
  • Excellent time management skills and work to deadlines.
  • Organised and thorough.
  • Flexible in the approach to work.
  • Confident and ability to influence.

Other requirements

  • Able to travel to other office locations in the UK.
