Role Profile
Our client, who is a fast growing retail distribution company, is looking to source an experienced and dynamic Shift Operations Manager to be based within one of their 'state-of-the-art' operations. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for a large team of Team Managers and colleagues in an FMCG environment. Responsibilities will include, but will not be restricted to, staff planning, retention and training, health & safety, effective communication, customer service, contributing to the implementation of operational strategy in line with the site's goals, site security, stock integrity, control of fixed assets, meeting company KPIs. In the role of Shift Operations Manager, you will be an effective coach and mentor to the Management team and must be skilled at providing a vision, and driving performance through leadership.
The successful candidate must be driven, assertive, and confident, with impressive people management skills to run this time-critical operation, in addition to having experience of Continuous Improvement methodologies.

Skills & Experience
Ideally with 3PL, Retail, Manufacturing, or Store experience, you will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar environment. You will be a natural leader, and will be able to demonstrate strong commercial, analytical and communication skills, and you must have a proven record of managing managers.
