Role Title
Supply Chain Analyst - Direct Dispatch
Full time, temporary contract (4-6 weeks)
£17-19k depending on skills & experience (pro-rata)

Role Profile
My client, a leading supplier of clothing, interiors and beauty products, is looking to appoint a Supply Chain Analyst specialising in Direct Dispatch. Based in Bradford and supplying into UK and European retailers such as Next, Sainsbury's, B&M and Argos, this family owned business has gained a reputation for their innovative and excellence in design, setting them apart from other UK suppliers. This is a fantastic opportunity for an immediately available driven, process-oriented and analytical individual with experience working in Dispatch with EDI systems to join a friendly, dynamic and hardworking team for a period of 4-6 weeks.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assistant to the Supply Chain & Customs Manager with the daily running of the direct despatch department, liaising between Customers, Carriers, Warehouse and merchandisers, to ensure that all customer orders are delivered in good time for customer delivery dates.
  • First line contact for Key Account Customers, Warehouse and Merchandisers for direct dispatch including EDI system queries
  • Download all key account orders through EDI and subsequent invoices
  • Raising all paperwork - both internal paperwork and customer's own
  • Liaising with Carriers for delivery to Customers
  • Liaising with warehouse to ensure that they have enough time to prepare outgoing goods.
  • Waving orders through to warehouse in Accellos
  • Liaising with merchandisers for any late deliveries or early stock
  • Liaise with B2B Customers
  • Cover for other operational functions including Bulk Dispatch and Imports.

Key Performance Indicators

  • All invoices and inputted orders relating to EDI, processed without error and within timelines needed by the business
  • To receive no fines for late deliveries, or incorrect paperwork.
  • To have zero 'RED' indicators within any EDI traffic lights systems

Skills & Experience

  • Good IT skills, particularly in relation to Excel and Word
  • High attention to detail
  • Analytical and methodical
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working in Dispatch and with company EDI systems
