Role Profile
Our client, a prestigious and luxury manufacturing company, is looking for a tenacious, experienced and quick thinking Materials and Production Planner to join their team based in Buckinghamshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for a team of Demand, Logistics and Production planners.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Management of 3rd party logistics suppliers
  • Use bespoke ERP/MRP capacity planning tools to forecast production constraints
  • Management of lead time and delivery costs
  • Management of order placement, shipping and receipt
  • Process improvement / Six Sigma qualified preferred
  • Control and understand process flows in inventory and production planning procedures

Skills & Experience

  • Experience of working in medium sized company environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • S&OP experience
  • Excellent Excel, MRP and data management skills
  • Process improvement and change management experience
  • Strong decision making skills
