Role Profile
Our client, a leading FMCG business based within Hertfordshire, are currently looking for a passionate supply chain professional with experiences within a fast-paced environment. Working within a successful and growing, multifunctional team, the successful candidate will be responsible for stock and inventory planning. You will be a hardworking and analytical individual with the customer-facing skills required to build strong business relationships both internal and external. Responsibilities

  • Manage stock and inventory planning for all products
  • Ensure the ordering system is keep updated with the most accurate information
  • Ensure order proposals match supply levels whilst minimising costs
  • Investigate and remedy, where needed, any deviations against KPI's on waste, stock transfers, order modifications, late stock additions, forecast accuracy and order proposal quality
  • Working with the Advanced Forecasting system
  • Develop relationships and communication channels with customers
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems, tools
  • Ensure planning models, forecasts, ordering parameters and stock projections are sufficiently accurate to assure supply with maximum efficiency and minimum cost
  • Develop relationships and communication channels with customers
  • Plan for known peak & special trading periods
  • Deal with customer queries within the agreed SLA's



Skills & Experience

  • Experienced within a supply chain/logistics function
  • Experience within a fast paced environment
  • An understanding of replenishment/forecasting processes
  • Strong Microsoft skills, particularly Excel
  • Experience in making own forecasting decisions
  • Organised and able to prioritise work to ensure customer needs are met
  • A sense of urgency
  • Strives for excellence by surpassing established standards
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross functionally
  • Takes initiative to practice and apply new skills
  • Proactively seeks feedback from internal and external contacts
