Role Profile:
Our client is a market leading organisation in their specialism who is looking for an experience UK Inventory & Stock Manager to join their team. You will have extensive experience of forecasting, stock holding and material distribution. My client is looking for a strong communicator who has a real drive and enthusiasm for their work. Joining a brilliant team at an ever-growing company this is a real opportunity to take full responsibility for their network and make a difference. This role will be based from my clients Head office in central London but may require some ad hoc travel across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing the overall demand forecasts at multiple levels for the company
  • Review historical trends. Gather, analyse and validate data
  • Develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Drive improvement of processes across their network
  • Build and maintain influential relationships with key stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, and Finance departments to understand demand forecast drivers and dampers
  • Coordinate cross-functional analytical activities to reconcile significant variances and improve stock accuracies across their network

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in an Inventory Management or Stock Management role, preferably for an FMCG corporation
  • High level of proficiency in forecasting with an understanding of the financial and operational impacts
  • Strong analysis and presentation skills
  • Advanced Excel
  • Proactive, 'can do' attitude
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain an objective approach when faced with competing priorities
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet short deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a cross functional team and interact with all levels of the business
  • Strong interpersonal skills to motivate, influence and manage others to deliver change and keep an environment positive

Salary circa £45,000 - £50,000 depending on skills and experience, plus benefits
