£27,000 - £29,000 + Benefits

Role Profile
Our client who is a well established food wholesaler is looking to appoint an experienced Warehouse First Line Manager for their depot in the North West. Reporting to the Warehouse Shift Manager and working on an any 5 from 7 shift pattern on a rotating 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm basis, you will be responsible for the daily management of team leaders and circa 50 warehouse staff. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, timely and secure process of goods through the warehouse from Goods In to Despatch. Part of your duty will also be to manage KPI's including Cost per case, cases per hour, absence levels, stock loss and MHE utilisation.

Skills & Experience
It is essential that you have previous warehouse supervisory experience in a food distribution environment. You will be confident in managing a large team in a busy pressurised environment and you must be able to demonstrate a methodical approach to warehouse supervision. Basic health and safety knowledge is essential as is a deep knowledge and understanding of warehouse costs and KPI's.
