Warehouse and Production Operations Manager

Role Profile

This position is with a growing, stable and successful business and sits at a senior level within their logistics function. The role requires a seasoned professional who will be able to come into the business and really own their area of the operation which spans across warehousing, production, manufacturing, external / internal supply chain and demand planning.

Your team will ensure that the inflow and outflow of product is in sync with the warehouse and manufacturing process. Alongside this you will need to be a hands on people person with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build communicative and collaborative teams and internal business relationships. It is great time to join the business as they go through an exciting period of growth.

Responsibilities Include

  • Planning on a strategic level for the internal supply chain and warehouse activity.
  • Ensure operational standards are maintained in terms of stock control, safe storage, and performance across pick, pack and dispatch.
  • Manage the warehouse operations team, supply and demand planners.
  • Ensure that Quality Assurance checks are carried out on arriving material.

Skills & Experience

  • Senior management experience and skilled in managing people.
  • Able to deal with rapid change peak season demand.
  • Experience of stock receiving, handling and quality checking.
  • Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
  • Improve operational efficiencies.

  • Attention to detail and methodical approach to work.

  • Excellent people management skills.
