Role Title
Womenswear Production Co-ordinator

Role Profile
Our client, a market leading fashion retailer, is looking to welcome a Production Co-ordinator into their womenswear department.

As a Production Coordinator you will be responsible for inputting, updating and managing the critical path, confirming and booking orders, and overseeing production issues. You will work closely with internal Garment Technologists to ensure fit samples are correct, along with processing and chasing queries on lab-dips, labels and bulk fabrics. You will be a key member of the production team, reporting directly to the Head of Womenswear Production.

Key Responsibilities:
You must demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to work with overseas factories, Mills, Factories, Agents, Garment Technologists and internal colleagues at all levels. Possessing outstanding woven fabric experience, merchandising and production knowledge is essential along with critical path management, administration and organisational skills.

You will maintain, and when possible, improve profitability, making sure there's no loss of quality - with ownership of the product all the way until it reaches the DC.

Skills & Experience

  • The ideal applicant must have exceptional production co-ordination experience working for a UK based fashion supplier in a similar role.
  • Woven fabric experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Excel (intermediate level)
  • Word (intermediate level)
