About the candidate

An accomplished Customer Demand Planner with over 18 years’ FMCG experience, specialising in SKU-level volume forecasting within large-scale food manufacturing environments. They bring strong experience across major UK grocery retail accounts, multi-category planning and both short and long-term forecasting horizons.

They are confident working cross-functionally with commercial, supply planning and customer supply chain teams, using data-led insight to improve forecast accuracy, support S&OP and keep operations aligned. Based in Warwickshire, they are immediately available and looking for a permanent opportunity.

What makes them great?

  • Strong forecasting performance: Regularly achieves or exceeds forecast accuracy targets of around 80% at 13 weeks, 85% at 4 weeks and 90% at 2 weeks.
  • Large SKU responsibility: Manages an 18-month rolling forecast across approximately 255 SKUs, using historical sales, market trends and commercial insight to shape demand plans.
  • Process improvement mindset: Has supported forecasting improvements across three manufacturing sites, helping to improve demand accuracy, operational alignment and cross-functional ways of working.
