Successful candidates for General Manager roles should have a strong working knowledge of the technologies and other WMS systems commonly used in the industry. Depending on the role, an understanding of transport and customer service can be beneficial, as can a good sense of commercial and financial awareness.

Logistics General Managers will need to possess excellent organisation skills and be able to take the lead quickly and effectively. As the head of a team, you should be comfortable managing, delegating and motivating staff and you may also need to provide training as appropriate.

General Manager Jobs in Denbighshire

Denbighshire is a county towards the north east of Wales. It shares borders with Flintshire, Wrexham, Powys, Caernarfonshire and Conwy, and a short coastline with the North Sea. The administrative centre of Ruthin is right in the heart of the county, and the north coat has two well-known seaside resorts, Prestatyn and Rhyl. The east of the county is rather mountainous, which brings other tourists, as do the plentiful castles that tell their own tales about Denbighshire’s turbulent past.

With tourism playing such an important role in the local economy, General Manager jobs do feature in the employment landscape of Denbighshire. There are also some large static population concentrations in the area, most notably the seaside resorts (Rhyl’s 25,000 makes it the county’s largest) but also the market towns like Ruthin, St Asaph and Llangollen.
