Cast UK have been appointed by Avansas UK to recruit a UK Category Manager who is confident identifying new categories and has proven experience developing current business lines.

What you'll be doing:
- Taking ownership of new role in the UK reporting into Head of Trade & Merchandising
- Develop new business on existing categories, products and new product selection
- Manage and negotiate contracts with Suppliers to ensure favourable trading terms with a focus on best cost prices and payment terms
- Support Merchandising department focusing on quality product content and visuals
- Negotiate and implement contracts and processes for the management of product assortments
What we need from you:
- Proven experience within Buying or Management of a dedicated Category
- Track record of managing a Direct fulfilment/Drop ship operation
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience of managing product ranges within Office Furniture, Business Machines & Technology or Facilities Categories would be advantageous
- Proficient in IT & MS Office
