I am looking for a Customer Relations Logistics Specialist to join a leading chemical distribution company based in Luton.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role will be responsible for managing the customer service and administrative functions of the business. This includes managing customer orders and enquiries, providing timely responses to customers, liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate should have strong customer service and communication skills, be highly organised, and have experience working with the distribution of goods on a global scale. The ability to speak a second language would be highly advantageous for this role as you would be managing an area within Europe. Desired languages include Spanish, Italian, Dutch, German or French.

Technical Skills Required:

• Experience of having worked in a logistics related role or be familiar with how goods are moved around the world.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Organisational and administrative skills.
• Be able to identify where improvements can be made, communicate findings effectively, make recommendations, and facilitate change.
• Can work in a high paced environment, working conscientiously and proficiently.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
