Cast UK are supporting a FMCG retailor with the recruitment process of a Demand Planner for their Wythenshawe Area. As the Demand Planner, you'll be leading the monthly forecasting process across the UK and Europe. Responsibilities
- Build key relationships Supply Chain Planners, Sales Team, Marketing and Finance
- Liaise daily, building rapport with internal and external customers
- Lead monthly Demand forecasting process across UK and Europe
- Esure quality and accurate data for stakeholders to understand clearly
- Analyse historical EPOS/Sage/Customer sales/Ordering patterns to map future demand trends
- Work cross functionally with sales team to look at promotional plans and range extensions
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to analyse plans and SKU categorization
- Drive forecast accuracy based on NPD launches and growth or decline trends
- Action a process of improvements and supporting the implementation of Relex (planning software)
Requirements
- Ideally have 5 years of FMCG Demand Planning experience
- Possess excellent attention to detail, and analytical skills
- Excellent numerical skills
- Must have strong communication and relationship building abilities
- High proficiency in Excel
- Desirable but not essential experience with Relex and PowerBI
- Preferably experienced in using SAGE200
- Must confident and have a positive, professional, can do attitude
- Must have a head strong personality and be able to make firm accurate decisions
