Cast UK are delighted to have partnered exclusively with a key customer of ours as they look to strengthen and add to their senior leadership team. This fantastic opportunity is for the position of Export Manager, leading a small team to ensure the businesses high standards and objectives are achieved.
The Export Manager will report through to the Head of Supply Chain. Through proactive leadership and a passion for excellence, the successful candidate will set, and implement a clear vision for the improvement of all aspects of the operation, manage monthly forecasting processes and build relationships with international suppliers.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Manage the monthly forecasting process and ensure targets are clearly set and achieved throughout the business.
- Manage the interactions of international 3PLs and franchise partners to determine ongoing supply needs.
- Accountability for Export Paperwork compliance (Export Health Certificates, Private Attestations, Phytosanitary and Customs)
- Management of Customs agent process for exports to non-EU markets.
- Act as the first Point of Contact for your clients to supply goods to international markets
- Management of stock levels across international 3PL hubs. Responsible for ensuring that all Brexit related requirements for Best FL are scoped and agreed with the Depot Senior Management Team.
Skills & Experience
- Experience leading and developing a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of international trade compliance
- Great analytical and communication skills
- Experience within food logistics is desirable
To take the business forward on their journey whilst developing your own career, you must have the gravitas and the ability to motivate and team through your forward thinking and desire to continuously develop.
A good understanding of reporting & performance statistics as well as the ability to deliver multiple projects with tight deadlines is also a key requirement.
